Did You Know? Rachel Dylan is a UGA Bulldog Fan!

I love to interact with Christian authors and I follow several on their FB pages and blogs.  I was browsing my feed on FB the other day and I came across this post from author, Rachel Dylan:

College football season starts this weekend. Are you a football fan? Do you have a favorite team?
Go Georgia Bulldogs!

We’ll, we are right smack dab in Bulldog country and I knew she is writing the Atlanta Justice series…so I thought…hmmmmm…there’s got to be more to this story.  So I replied and sure enough, she’s from Georgia.  I told her our church is right next door to Athens and that our Media Center has the first two books in the Atlanta Justice series and asked her for more info and this is what she told me:

Hi Debbie—

Thanks again.  Here’s a little more info.  I was born and grew up in Macon, Georgia.  I went to college at West Ga in Carrollton and graduated from UGA Law School in 2006.  I worked in a large law firm in Atlanta for 8 years before moving to Michigan.  I definitely miss Georgia, especially the warm sunshine.  I’m a big UGA football fan.  I write the Atlanta Justice series which is a 3 book series about three women attorneys in Atlanta.  They all practice different types of law, but they find themselves in challenging and dangerous situations.  Deadly Proof and Lone Witness are currently available and the last book in the series, Breach of Trust will be out in February.

It’s a small world!  Anyway, I thought our Media Center followers would like to know that Rachel is a Georgia Bulldog fan and that we have Deadly Proof #1 and Lone Witness #2 in the Media Center right now just waiting for someone to come and check them out.

Deadly Proof was the first “Rachel Dylan” book I’ve read.  And I checked it out from the Media Center to take on vacation.  I really enjoyed it.  We just recently added Lone Witness and I’m waiting to finish reading a couple of other books and then I’m checking this one out.

I love suspense, both medical and legal.  This one fits the bill for legal thrillers. So, come on in and check them out.  And if you are reading this blog post and you don’t come to our church, then I highly recommend you buying these books or looking for them in your library.

To go to Rachel’s website, just click on her name (underlined) in this blog post and it will take you right to her website and you can learn about all her books.
