Stranded (Alaskan Courage Book 3) by Dani Pettrey (4 Stars)

Exciting Suspense in Alaska

Reporter Darcy St. James comes back to Alaska in this book, by way of a cruise ship.  She is helping her old investigative reporter friend, Abby, undercover something strange going on during these cruises.  The only problem, the first night on the ship, Abby goes missing and Darcy is left to try and keep her cover while trying to find out what has happened to her friend.

As God has it all planned out, the new excursions company for the cruise line is Gage McKenna’s company.  That was not what Darcy was expecting, but she was hoping to see Gage and his family.  She hadn’t heard anything from him since she left months earlier.

The mystery surrounding the cruise ship and young women disappearing keeps you going until the end and it’s full of surprises.  Gage and Darcy are drawn to each other and we even get a peak at Jake and his mysterious past that everyone has been so eager to discover.

This is a great book, showing that in all things God can work for good, not all things turn out the way we want them, but when we turn ourselves over to God, the peace He gives will help us through anything that comes our way.
